Whether re-staging favorite works or unveiling sizzling new ones, this company never sits still. The legendary Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater dazzles audiences, bringing cheering, whistling crowds to their feet again and again. Every time you see this company, it feels like the first time--with all the energy and all the joy that have inspired so many dance enthusiasts for so long.
 
For decades, the company has performed a repertoire rich in classic works by their extraordinarily gifted founder, including Revelations, his "radiant and timeless" (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution) signature masterpiece. Revelations will be featured in each performance during the company's week of mixed programs in 2008, which promise other audience favorites and new dances by today's most inventive choreographers.
