About

The focus of the master class, the "art of performing," is on imagination and developing your voice as an artist. Learn insights into performing and being an interpreter of story. Understand the dimensions of music and how to take an idea and give it color. This has been the key to Carmen de Lavallade's success as an artist and she wants to share these insights. This participatory, intermediate to advanced level class is for adults (sorry, no observers allowed). Please respect the targeted skill level for the class and enjoy!

Please note: due to the structure of this contemporary dance class, no late entry will be permitted once the class has started.

Please be advised that because this event involves physical activity, all participants will be required to sign a waiver form prior to participating (see waiver form below listed under "Resources"). Please review this form prior to purchasing tickets and bring a signed copy with you to the workshop. Waiver forms will also be available at the door.

Performance Timing: 90 minutes
