OLIVER TWIST
Theatreworks/USA brings the classic Charles Dickens tale to the Kennedy Center for audiences to enjoy. After being banished from a workhouse, Oliver, a young orphan, finds himself among a ring of pickpockets and thieves run by Fagin, where he is befriended by the "Artful Dodger". When Oliver is wrongly accused of stealing from an elderly gentleman, the man takes pity on Oliver and takes him in. Join Oliver and London's unlawful inhabitants, Dodger, Fagin, Bill Sikes and Nancy, in this dramatic rendering of the beloved tale that audiences will love. Recommended for young people ages nine and up and their families.
