This enchanting storyteller (Diane Ferlatte) takes very seriously her role as a preserver of folk history, traditions, and values--and you'll find yourself lost in not-to-be-forgotten worlds in her stories of many cultures, including African, Southern, and African-American. As she sings, signs (American Sign Language) and uses percussive instruments, she reveals a past--and a wisdom--that touches us all.
