Amazing athleticism...rousing music...a rainbow of costumes... exhilarating dance! Named after a xylophone-like instrument from West Africa, Balafon has emerged as one of the Washington area’s premier African dance ensembles. Led by Artistic Director Kadiatou Conte, the company brings to the stage an exquisite celebration of traditional West African song, music, and dance.

Recommended for ages 4 and up.
