About
A self-taught guitarist who plays with "exceptional harmonic
ingenuity and finesse" (The Washington Post), Russell
Malone is well-known in the jazz world for his congenial, clever
style and astounding versatility. He lends his virtuosic talents
to a spirited music set, including 1940s works by Charlie
Christian, arguably the first important electric guitarist.
