About

Three generations of tenor saxophonists come together in this unique collaboration. With a career that spans nearly 60 years, NEA Jazz Master James Moody is a jazz institution, having worked extensively with the great Dizzy Gillespie. The legendary Nathan Davis has toured with such luminaries as Art Blakey and Ray Charles, and now heads Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead at the Kennedy Center. Rounding out the threesome, Quamon Fowler was discovered by Davis and is an up-and-coming ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award winner.
