Saxophonist Steve Wilson returns to the Kennedy Center accompanied by a jazz trio--pianist Bruce Barth, bassist Michael Bowie, and drummer Lewis Nash--and a string quartet, for a special, two-night engagement performing the music (from the original arrangements) of the seminal 1950 Charlie Parker recording Bird with Strings (Verve). Come and experience why NPR calls Wilson "one of the best in the business."
