Jane Monheit returns to Kennedy Center after wowing the audience with her signature "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" performance last fall as a featured artist at the Thelonious Monk International Vocal Competition in the Eisenhower Theater. Now more than a decade into her career--and still packing in audiences worldwide--this young two-time Grammy nominee has proven she has the staying power, and talent, to remain as an extraordinarily gifted jazz vocalist whose sincere and romantic interpretations of exceptional songs have made her a favorite in both the jazz and cabaret worlds.
