The Washington premiere of Stanley Silverman's Piano Trio No. 2, written for them just last year and inspired by a lute song to a beautiful eulogy from Shakespeare's Cymbeline, will be framed by the much-loved Brahms B major Trio and Beethoven's late Allegretto, composed for a 9-year-old student, the daughter of his Immortal Beloved.
