A 2011 NEA Jazz Master and the youngest son of "New Orleans's venerable first family of jazz" (All About Jazz), renowned drummer and vibraphonist Jason Marsalis brings his energetic presence and talents to the KC Jazz Club. "Just as his drumming is steeped in both modern and New Orleans rhythmic styles, his vibes playing draws on the rich tradition of that instrument…with commendably ardent swing" (Jazz Times).

Performance Timing:  75 minutes, with no intermission.
