Heralded by JazzTimes readers as "the best jazz festival in the United States," the Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour brings top musicians to the Kennedy Center, including vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater and bassist Christian McBride, pianist Benny Green, drummer Lewis Nash, saxophonist Chris Potter, and trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire. Since its debut in 1958, the California-based festival has presented legendary performances by jazz icons such as Billie Holiday, Ornette Coleman, Cannonball Adderley, Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, Earl Hines, Mary Lou Williams, Jason Moran, and many more.

Performance Timing:  75 minutes, with no intermission.
