Praised for his "gorgeous tone" (The New York Times), Augustin Hadelich is well placed in the top echelon of young violinists. He is joined by dazzling pianist Joyce Yang, "a wonderful player with the accuracy of a surgeon and the heart of an artist" (Naples News), and dynamic guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas, who has been praised for putting "a warm, beautifully rounded guitar tone at the service of the music" (The New York Times).

The special multimedia recital they have put together, Tango, Song, and Dance, is built around a trio of lighthearted virtuoso pieces composed in 1997 by André Previn, here performed by Hadelich and Yang. Hadelich performs two works with Villegas, Piazolla's L'Histoire du tango arranged for violin and guitar and Falla's Five Popular Songs. Interspersed are solo works, including Villegas in Rodrigo's Invocation and Dance, Yang in Ginastera's Danzas Argentinas, and Hadelich in Ysaÿe's monumental Sixth Solo Violin Sonata. The program concludes with the trio coming together to play Villa-Lobos's most popular work, Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5.
