The only composer to have been allowed by Cole Porter's estate to write music for a previously unrecorded Porter lyric, "I Gaze in Your Eyes," she has also written with Barbara Carroll, Carole King, and Barbra Streisand. A "jazz powerhouse" (The New York Times), Callaway's voice blends jazz with pop, her work appealing on stage and screen.
