About
HISTORY OF THE PIANO
Steven Lubin is equally respected for his masterful interpretations of classical era keyboard works on authentic instruments and for his performances on the modern piano. What better choice of performer, then, for this program that traces the history of the piano, from music composed for the earliest keyboard instruments to modern day? This concert includes performances on the clavichord, harpsichord, and fortepiano, as well as Mr. Lubin's knowledgeable, entertaining commentary on the works he performs.
