About

National Symphony Orchestra Ensemble

Back by popular demand! Music and science may be two different classes in school, but in this revealing concert, you'll find that the two are closely connected - and you'll hear those connections as you learn the answers to many questions. When do musicians use science? Why do scientists study musicians? And what exactly IS music, scientifically speaking?

NSO cellist Yvonne Caruthers and an ensemble of her NSO colleagues explore these topics in this stimulating multi-media performance that touches on accoustics, medicine, computer science, psychology - and, of course, music.
