The National Symphony Orchestra whisks you back in time to "the
good old days" in this dazzling family concert that celebrates
the pure majesty and joy of American music through classics by
three great composers from the 1940s. Hear how everyday objects
like typewriters and clocks become musical instruments in the
playful melodies of Leroy Anderson. Learn what it means to swing
"big band" style with the high-energy jazz of Duke Ellington.
And explore America the beautiful through the breathtaking music
of Aaron Copland. Get ready to soar—a decade of delightful music
and wonder is waiting!
