About

Don't miss one of Washington's most beloved holiday traditions, presented each new season with a fresh perspective and original insight by the NSO and talented guest conductors and soloists. The Washington Post continues to applaud the Orchestra's annual concerts of Handel's epic masterpiece, praising its "radiantly cheerful [and] joyful rendition" in December 2004, and hailing its "extraordinary performance of the oratorio" in 2003 that featured "an exuberant Hallelujah Chorus... that seemed to float right up to heaven."

Volunteers from the Capital Area Food Bank will be on hand to accept donations of commercially canned goods at all four Messiah performances.
