About
Teddy Bear Concerts
Inspired by a popular family concert tradition in Europe, this new series suitable for children 3 to 5 years old--and fun for families of all ages--lets them bring their favorite stuffed animal to fun and interactive musical programs featuring members of the National Symphony Orchestra. Each performance lasts approximately 40 minutes.
Tunes ‘n' Tales
Join two NSO principal musicians--violinist Marissa Regni and harpist Dotian Levalier--as they show how different sounds, melodies, rhythms, and instruments can be used to bring a story to life. Through such favorites as "The Waltzing Cat," "Ferdinand the Bull," and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," plus a lively sing-along and more, you'll use your imagination to see, hear, and feel the music. Don't forget to bring your favorite teddy bear to the concert!
