About

Legendary entertainer Nat "King" Cole visited the households of America every week through his groundbreaking television program. Now the swing and charm of Nat come to the NSO Pops audience in this very special Thanksgiving weekend Pops event. Ten-time Grammy Award–winning guitarist and vocalist George Benson brings audiences the music that made Cole's show so special, including "Mona Lisa," "Route 66," "Looking Back," and "Nature Boy." Led by conductor Randy Waldman and new NSO Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke, the program also features Benson's own blistering hits as part of the Kennedy Center's Swing, Swing, Swing jazz festival.
