"Brilliant violinist" (The New York Times) Anne-Sophie Mutter joins a program led by conductor Cristian Macelaru in his NSO debut that features Dvorák's Violin Concerto and Sebastian Currier's Time Machines, a D.C. premiere written specifically for Mutter. Note: the Currier work has replaced the previously scheduled Symphony No. 1 by Bohuslav Martinu in these concerts.

Performance Timing:  Part One - 50 min.; Intermission - 15 min.; Part Two - 35 min.

PATRON NOTE: Due to the weather, the Thu., Feb. 13, 2014 concert was cancelled. Ticket holders should have been contacted with details.
