He's been dubbed "the new voice of the American rock and roll songbook" (Billboard Magazine). Now, charismatic vocalist, piano man, and actor Michael Cavanaugh--the Tony- and Grammy–nominated star of Broadway's Movin' Out featuring the music of Billy Joel--returns to the NSO Pops to pay tribute to another great piano legend: Sir Elton John. Cavanaugh is certain to bring down the house with his acclaimed renditions of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Benny and the Jets," "Rocket Man," "Crocodile Rock," "Candle in the Wind," and more--plus several other rock and roll classics and a few special surprises!
