Tenor Stephen Costello (also seen in WNO's Moby-Dick) has been hailed by Opera News as "an intelligent, well-trained singer whose enormous talent and natural musical instincts mark him for potential greatness." Ailyn Pérez is increasingly in-demand at the world's leading opera houses, with the role of Violetta in La traviata one of her signature calling cards. The New York Times says she "has the makings of a major soprano. Her voice has a distinctive timbre, with plaintive richness blended into its youthful bloom."
Together with piano accompaniment by Danielle Orlando, Costello and Pérez offer a wonderfully charming evening of stories and song.
Performance Timing: Approximately 90 minutes, including one 20-minute intermission.
