Billie Holiday and Billy Strayhorn gave the world such musical treasures as “Take the A Train,” “Passion Flower,” “Fine and Mellow,” and “God Bless the Child.” In this three-part series, you’ll learn the stories behind their music and hear the vocal stylings of Allan Harris and René Marie as they honor these two jazz legends. With special guest Dr. Billy Taylor.
