Jazz and poetry have historically been interwoven throughout
the 20th century. From the early lyrics of blues musicians to
the permutations of jazz in the hip-hop generation, the fusion
of these two art forms is electric. Join national poets and
musicians as they scat, signify, and stir your soul in the KC
Jazz Club, the Kennedy Center’s newest jazz club setting.
