Part I: The Book vs. The Movie vs. The Musical
In this interactive session, we'll explore the book, movie, and musical with the musical's adapter Tim McDonald, and facilitator Scot Reese. From acting out dialogue to performing improvisational scenes, you'll have a great opportunity to learn more about Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka.
Monday, November 1, 6-7:30 p.m.
Part II: Working Rehearsal
Watch the actors rehearse with the director and join them in a roundtable discussion about the rehearsal process.
Friday, November 12, 6-7:30 p.m.
Part III: Technical Rehearsal
At the technical rehearsal, see the performers rehearse, observe lighting and sound cues being set, and watch the director make final decisions.
Friday, November 19, 6-7:30 p.m.
Part IV: Opening Performance
This is it: the show is ready! See the play in its final form with the audience. Following the performance, join the designers, cast, and director at the cast party.
