About

Graham, Dunham, Cunningham, Limón, Taylor, Ailey:  The masters of modern dance.  Sharing common ground while acting on their own distinct impulses and visions--modern dance choreographers don't play by anyone's rules.  How does one evaluate such a broad spectrum of styles and inspirations?  Come discover where the trajectories of choreographers diverge and where they fit into a shared history.  Led by dance scholar Suzanne Carbonneau, this three-part series includes a lecture/demonstration of José Limón Dance Company's The Moor's Pavane.

NOTE: This event is sold as a 3-session series only.
