Join Performance Plus for a full-circle view of ballet in this series examining the performance, the choreographer, and the dancer.  In the first session, "Pointe-by-Pointe: Understanding Ballet," dance critic Alexandra Tomalonis uses video of well-known ballets to take you on a journey into the art form. With the performance as the leaping off point, learn about the history of ballet, major creative contributors, and the numerous elements that synthesize into what appears onstage.
