Performance Plus™ presents Reiko Sudo, head and co-founder of Nuno Corporation, in a guided tour through the unique world of Nuno design. Combining the best of the past and present, Nuno synthesizes traditional aesthetics with modern technology to inspire today's fashions and make Japan's "lost art" more accessible to textile lovers worldwide. 

Sudo's innovative exhibition for the JAPAN! culture + hyperculture festival will illuminate textile design in the form of a giant fish. Her inspiration comes from the Japanese national holiday Kodomo No Hi ("Children's Day"), during which families fly beautiful carp-shaped windsocks called koinobori outside their homes, as a wish of good fortune.
