About
Alexandra Tomalonis has been a dance critic for nearly 30 years, writing frequently for the Washington Post, Dance Magazine, and other publications. She is the editor of DanceView magazine, and its online review supplement, and the author of Henning Kronstam: Portrait of a Danish Dancer, a biography of one of the great stars and later director of The Royal Danish Ballet. Ms. Tomalonis also teaches ballet history, aesthetics, and related courses at the Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington, D.C.
