Join Explore the Arts for a free film screening of the 2000 portrait of American composer John Adams. In a film that combines concert footage of Nixon in China and El Niño and excerpts from the film adaptation of The Death of Klinghoffer, along with interviews and commentary from Peter Sellars, Michael Tilson Thomas and Adams himself, get insight into America's most frequently performed living composer.

Also on the program are works by Barber and Elgar as well as Copland's Suite from Billy the Kid.
