After a screening of the documentary John F. Kennedy–Years of Lightning, Day of Drums (1965) a panel featuring renowned artists, journalists, and policy makers discusses the lasting impact of the Kennedy presidency on contemporary society. The panelists are Ms. Marta Casals Istomin, Bruce Cohen, Director of Overseas Staffing, The Peace Corps, and Professor Dotty Lynch, Executive in Residence in the School of Communication at American University. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. James Thurber, Director of the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies at American University.  Part of The Presidency of John F. Kennedy: A 50th Anniversary Celebration.
