About
Washington National Opera closes its season with Saint-Saëns' most famous opera, Samson et Dalila, based on the Biblical tale that tells the story of Samson's downfall at the hands of his lover, Dalila, after he leads the God-fearing Hebrews to victory over the Philistines. Mezzo soprano Olga Borodina makes her Washington National Opera debut as Dalila, one of her signature roles, and Giovanni Reggioli conducts Saint-Saëns' score that dazzles with some of the most splended vocal music in French opera.
Performed in French with English Supertitles.
NOTE: Supertitles not visible from Rear Orchestra.
