For the fifth consecutive year, Washington National Opera presents its ever popular Opera Look-In to the wider community with a special weekend performance. A wonderful opportunity for parents and families to introduce their children to opera, this season the Family Look-In gives children and their families a behind-the-scenes look into Carmen, conducted by General Director Plácido Domingo. This 50-minute performance includes demonstrations by members of the Washington National Opera Orchestra and production staff. Audience members will have the opportunity to experience lively excerpts from Carmen with full staging, costumes, and orchestra. Preparatory materials are provided, including a WNO Commentary on CDSM and Study Guide.
