Great American Songwriting Teams is a program of classic and rarely heard songs in honor of the great American composer teams of the 20th century: the Gershwin brothers, Bernstein, Comden & Green, Rodgers & Hart, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, Bock & Harnick, Kander & Ebb, Leiber & Stoller, Bolcom & Weinstein, and others.  Join the New York Festival of Song as they open the Vocal Arts Society 2009-10 Terrace Theater season with a survey of some favorites of American musical theater songwriting.  Performance Timing: Part One - 45 min.; Intermission - 15 min.; Part Two - 45 min.
