German soprano Anne Schwanewilms is one of the world's leading lyric sopranos, a dramatic singing actress and distinguished interpreter of the lyrical roles and songs of Richard Strauss.  BBC Radio Three recently exclaimed, "One of the most electrifying singers of our time."  She has performed in recital and at major opera houses across the globe.  In her appearance with the Vocal Arts Society, she will be accompanied by the renowned Malcolm Martineau.  Program details to be announced.
