About
The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is pleased to present a brilliant musical duo from Kazakhstan, violinist Gaukhar Murzabekova and pianist Amir Tebenikhin, in a concert of classical music. Ms. Murzabekova's performances have won acclaim both domestically and internationally. She studied under the late maestro David Oistrakh and has appeared with such great musicians as Sviatoslav Richter, Natalia Gutman, Yo-Yo Ma, and Oleg Kogan. Mr. Tebenikhin's virtuoso performances have won top prizes at several prestigious European competitions. He has perfomed with renowned orchestras around the world.
Performance Timing: 90 minutes, with no intermission.
