About

WNO presents: Family Look-in

When four inquisitive children unexpectedly find themselves in an opera house, they see the magic of theater and stagecraft come to life.  Join the group as they learn about the orchestra, lighting, staging, and more from some of opera's most famous characters, like Figaro and Madama Butterfly.  Featuring members of the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program, the WNO Orchestra, and conductor Steven Gathman performing excerpts from The Magic Flute, Lucia di Lammermoor, Madama Butterfly, and more, this all-new production is the perfect introduction to opera for families and children ages 6-12.

Performance Timing:  60 minutes, with no intermission

Due to a power outage, the KC Café and Roof Terrace Restaurant & Bar are currently closed. There will be no Sunday Brunch on Oct. 17. There will be light supper fare available in the North Atrium Foyer and snacks and drinks at the Grand Foyer and Intermission Bars.

We regret any inconvenience this situation may cause and value your continued patronage of The Kennedy Center.
