The S&R Foundation presents a concert showcasing contemporary music by award-winning Japanese composer Koji Nakano. Mr. Nakano was the first composer to receive the S&R Washington Award Grand Prize in 2008. Since then he has become one of the major voices among Asian composers of his generation. 

A stellar line-up of celebrated artists will perform in the second half of a program that opens with music of Chopin and Rachmaninoff, performed by pianist Naoko Takao.

Performance Timing:  Part I - 20 min.; Intermission - 15 min.; Part II - 40 min.
