About
Performance Timing: 90 minutes, with no intermission.
The Kennedy Center has created several programs for District of Columbia students, teachers, and residents as a part of its Community Partnerships initiative, including the District of Columbia Public and Charter Schools Partnership, the Duke Ellington School Project, Get on the Bus, and the Dance Theatre of Harlem Pre-Professional Residency.
These programs are made possible by the U.S. Department of Education; AT&T; Capital One Bank; the Carter and Melissa Cafritz Charitable Trust; the Community Advisory Board; The Kiplinger Foundation; The Kirstein Family Foundation, Inc.; The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation; Newman’s Own Foundation; and Dr. Deborah Rose and Dr. Jan A. J. Stolwijk.
The District of Columbia Public and Charter Schools Partnership and Get on the Bus are funded in part by the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, an agency supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
