Hong Kong Dance Company's Qingming Riverside, a grand dance poem

The city's flagship arts company, Hong Kong Dance Company's one hundred dancers and creative personnel perform Qingming Riverside, which explores Chinese culture by tapping into its rich dance tradition to depict the lives of Bianjing citizens on the Bian River during the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 960–1126). The work has been presented at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and named a National Treasure class performance.

Performance Timing: Part One - 51 min.; Intermission - 15 min.; Part Two - 46 min.
