invites you to remember those who have served our country by celebrating their memory with an uplifting program of great American music. Civilian choristers and Armed Forces musicians team up for a grand concert of tributes including John Williams's "Summon the Heroes" and "Hymn to the Fallen," John M. Martin's "Who Are the Brave?", and Larry Grossman's "The Last Full Measure of Devotion." Also on the program is a musical salute to each branch of the Armed Forces. In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, three selections will be performed--Copland's Lincoln Portrait, the premiere of Peter J. Durow's "Gettysburg," and legendary Air Force Band arranger Floyd Werle's "The Story of the Battle Hymn of the Republic."
