About

Returning to the Overtures Spring Concert Series for the second year, the S&R Foundation is proud to present the 2003 Washington Award grand prize winner, pianist Yo Kosuge. Ms. Kosuge has been performing with orchestras since age nine. With her superlative technique, sensitivity of touch, and profound musical understanding, she has become one of the most noted young pianists in the world. Among others, Ms. Kosuge has performed with Gerd Albrecht, Rudolf Barshai, Dennis Russell Davies, Alexander Dmitriev, the St. Petersburg Symphony, and all major Japanese orchestras. The program is yet to be announced.

Performance Timing: Part One - 45 min.; Intermission - 15 min.; Part Two - 45 min.
