"One of Broadway's greatest lyric sopranos" (The New York Times), Kennedy Center favorite Barbara Cook is praised for her silken voice and warm presence. Both a Tony Award and Grammy Award winner, as well as a member of the Broadway Hall of Fame, she has made history with her roles in The Music Man, Candide, She Loves Me, and more. She launches the Spotlight series with her famed interpretations of the Broadway songbook.
