Recipients of the VSA International Young Soloists Award, Canadian violinist Adrian Anantawan (2002) and pianist Azariah Tan Peng Chay (2009) of Singapore are international performers on the path to world-renowned careers in classical music. Born without a right hand, Anantawan transforms our vision of playing the violin. Azariah Tan Peng Chay, who has bilateral sensorineural hearing loss, has garnered multiple music competition awards. The program includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, and Kreisler.
