When the Capuçons perform, "scintillating virtuosity appears to grow out of the fabric of the music with supreme naturalness…they play with a grace, charm, stylistic sensitivity and a beguiling sensuality" (The Strad). The trio comprises brothers Renaud and Gautier Capuçon with pianist Nicholas Angelich, protégé of the legendary Aldo Ciccolini.
