Stefan Jackiw, violin
with Anna Polonsky, piano
Violinist Stefan Jackiw is recognized as one of his generation's most significant artists, captivating audiences with playing that combines poetry and purity with an impeccable technique. Hailed for "talent that's off the scale," the Washington Post raved, "His weeping tone and spot-on intonation made you wonder whether this was what it was like to hear a Perlman or a Stern in his early years." His program includes works by Stravinsky, Brahms, a World premiere by David Fulmer, and Richard Strauss.
Performance Timing: 1 hour, 45 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission.
