RAVES FROM LONDON:
"An ingenious all-male cast...delights the heart as well as stimulates the mind...a joy to behold"
--The Daily Telegraph
"A beautifully acted evening...many innovative touches. Roars of approval all around."
"A production that, in its finest hour, is unforgettable."
"Superb...a wonderfully acute interpretation. Unreservedly recommended."
The award-winning all-male Propeller Theatre Company presents its new production of The Winter's Tale, Shakespeare's tragicomic tale of a jealous Sicilian king. Attacked by a fit of envy, King Leontes single-handedly brings down everything around him: his family, his kingdom, and himself. When circumstances conspire to lead him to the truth, he is consumed by guilt and sets in motion a string of events that lead to a miraculous ending. London's The Financial Times hails Propeller's gender-bending interpretation, under the award-winning direction of Edward Hall, as a "marvelous" production.
