Jamaican music star and folk legend Bob Marley took a genre born in the streets of Kingston and turned it into one of the most recognizable music forms in the world. In the words of his daughter Cedella, Marley "made his reggae music to uplift us, inform, entertain, inspire, and make change in the world." This special concert in collaboration with the Grammy Museum celebrates all that Marley stood for--art that transcends race, color, or creed--as Jacob Hemphill & Trevor Young (of SOJA), Citizen Cope, Rocky Dawuni, David Hinds (of Steel Pulse), Junior Marvin (of Bob Marley & the Wailers), Toshi Reagon, Alice Smith, Speech (of Arrested Development), and house band Roots Radics from Kingston, Jamaica play his best-loved songs, like "Get Up, Stand Up," "One Love," "Redemption Song," and "Stir It Up."

Performance Timing: Approximately 2-1/2 hours, including one 15-minute intermission
