This "teddy bear" is quite a sight: a gentle giant of a bodybuilder named Dennis, who sculpts his muscles by day and lives quietly at home with his mother at night. Pushing 40, Dennis badly wants a girlfriend, and despite his mother's resistance (talk about a master manipulator!) and his own profound awkwardness, he draws up the courage to find one, even if he has to leave Denmark to do it. Director Mads Matthiesen's understated, quietly-observed comedy is utterly engaging, entirely winning and amazingly natural, thanks in no small part to his cast of non-actors, including body-building champion Kim Kold as Dennis. The director will offer a short introduction before the screening and host a brief Q&A afterwards.
